Many DO matriculants are averaging in the mid 3.x, depending on the program. Every year it gets more competitive and comparable to MD. It’s pretty rural. There is some shopping and places to eat, but it is small. The nearest city is about 2 hrs away (and so is the airport). I submitted with a truly meh MCAT (490), an average GPA (cGPA 3.6, sGPA 3.5), but do have over 1000+ hours of patient care experience working as an MA.
